Job Title: Senior IT Engineer
Location: Syracuse, NY. 50% remote, 25% on-site Syracuse area, 25% local travel
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and building computer networks utilizing a variety of technologies including Cisco, Ruckus, HPE Aruba, and others. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing, migrating, and implementing Microsoft cloud technologies, as well as providing general IT support to our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain computer networks based on Cisco, Ruckus, HPE Aruba, and other technologies.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage and administer Microsoft cloud technologies, including but not limited to Office 365, Azure, and Intune.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions that align with business objectives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and applications.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in IT infrastructure management and cloud computing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience managing and troubleshooting computer networks.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
